Data we collect

We only collect the data that is strictly necessary:

• Contact details you provide voluntarily (name, email address, message) when you write to us.
• Booking details entered in the Mews booking engine (dates, number of guests, contact details), processed by Mews.
• Technical browsing data (language preference stored locally, connection logs) required for the site to function properly.
• No payment-card data is collected or stored by this site; any payments are handled by our booking provider.

Purposes & legal bases

Your data is used to respond to your requests (legitimate interest), to process your bookings (performance of a contract) and to ensure the security and proper operation of the site (legitimate interest). It is never sold.

Recipients & processors

Your data may be shared with our technical processors acting on our behalf: Mews (booking engine), Google Maps (map display) and OVH (hosting). Each accesses only the data needed for its service.

Transfers outside the European Union

Some providers may process data outside the European Union. Where applicable, such transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses).

Retention period

Contact requests are kept for as long as needed to handle them, then archived or deleted. Booking data is retained in accordance with applicable legal and accounting obligations.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, write to reception@maison-dumas.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).

Cookies & trackers

This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Only local storage is used to remember your language. Embedded third-party services (Google Maps, the Mews engine) may set their own cookies when used; please refer to their respective policies.
